This is one of a litter of six baby bunnies, the main reference for this picture came from ~salad7 , [link] . So please, go look at it as well. *Smiles* I decided not to include my hand in it, I thought it'd look cuter trying to sleep in a cozy red blankie! If anyone has some suggestions for how to make the fur look more realistic (as I'm not sure I really like it) please do tell! >>>Meg Tools: BIC Clic-matic #2 (.7mm) Academie Sketch Pad Paper Mars Plastic Eraser (Staedtler) Prismacolor "Premier"- -Spanish Orange (PC1oo3) -Cream (PC914) -Sienna Brown (PC945) -Peach (PC939) -Light Peach (PC927) -Light Umber (PC941) -Dark Brown (PC946) Prismacolor "Scholar"- -335 (Black) -368 (Grey) -322 (Red Orange) -338 (White) -344 (Light Brown) -325 (Red) Comments
It's good.....but I'm not sure I really like it....There is something wrong with the nose....I couldn't tell you really what it is right now but there is something....off about it
Dont get me wrong it's a good picture and you did a good job!! -- "Always do what you are afraid to do." If you do not hope, you will not find what is beyond your hopes. The best way out is always through. Every artist was first an amateur. For the fur, I think you need to do shorter pencil strokes by the nose and longer strokes as you approach the back of the head. The fur on the very tip of the muzzle should be almost dots or dashes rather than lines. The direction of fur also changes as you move up the face or to either side. You have to pay particular attention to this when drawing the lines or it may appear that all the fur is flowing in the same direction, which makes the face look funny.
